This version of T-Reps

This notice describes the app’s current local-storage design. The responsible provider is the developer identified as the seller on the T-Reps App Store listing. There is no T-Reps account or developer-operated workout-sync service in this version.

Ask Rex

On supported devices, Ask Rex uses Apple’s on-device model to interpret a question and phrase a reply from the app’s guide. It uses the question, up to two recent questions and a small snapshot of your current workout. The app does not send this conversation to a server or paid AI service. If the model is unavailable, Rex uses authored guide answers. Up to twelve answers and the current draft stay in app memory until you clear them or the app process ends; they are not saved to the workout database, event log, exports or backups. Clear in Ask Rex and Reset everything remove this conversation. Apple manages model availability and downloads separately through Apple Intelligence.

What is saved on your device

The app saves your selected experience and equipment, preferences (units, rest time, haptics and how chatty Rex is), your unfinished setup step and scheduling answers, the day you choose for your first workout, your workout days and reminder time, workout dates and times, loads, reps, effort ratings, whether you stopped because something hurt or felt wrong, setup notes, the names you give your equipment, the field reports you have read, progress, earlier values of sets you correct so a correction can be undone, and an unfinished workout so you can resume. It also keeps a log of events in the app, such as opening it, moving through setup or its optional preview, starting or finishing a workout, seeing the guide offer, purchase and restore outcomes, and changing a setting, each with its date, the app version and small details such as the visit number, the setup step, where an offer was opened, the selected product, trial eligibility, or the setting changed. A pending purchase also keeps its product, source, request time and a random local request reference so an approval can be recorded once after the app reopens; the app does not save Apple transaction identifiers in that event log. Settings shows this log under “Measured on this phone”. If you accept the Fitness Terms, it also saves the acceptance date, document versions, exact terms and acknowledgment text, and app version/build. It records your confirmation that you are 18 or older, not your birth date or medical history.

How that information is used

These records are used on your device to suggest workouts and weights, remember settings, show progress and history, resume a session and check whether you have accepted the current terms. If you choose workout days and allow notifications, the app asks your phone’s notification system to show a reminder at the time you picked; reminders are scheduled on your device, and you can turn them off in Settings or in your phone’s notification settings. The event log counts how the app is used, such as how often the guide offer appears and how many workouts are finished; you can read it in Settings, and it leaves your device only if you share a copy of your data. This version does not send workout records, the event log or acceptance records to a developer-operated server, include advertising or third-party analytics, or connect to Apple Health. We do not sell those records or use them for targeted advertising.

Apple purchases and diagnostics

Apple processes purchases and provides the app with product and transaction information to determine access and restore purchases. The app does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may also process App Store, device and diagnostic information under its own policies and your settings; reports may be made available to developers through Apple. These platform services are separate from the app’s local workout storage.

Backups, retention and deletion

Local records remain until you reset the app’s data or delete the app. The event log keeps only its most recent 2,000 events. In Settings, opened from Rex’s tab, Reset everything deletes the app’s local workout, preference, event-log and acceptance records, its unfinished workout, any pending reminders, and any copies kept after a file couldn’t be read; the event log then starts again with a record of the reset. Offloading the app can retain its data. Depending on your device settings, Apple device backups or device transfers may contain app data; manage these through Apple’s settings. Resetting this app does not erase copies already in backups, copies of your data you have shared, or Apple’s purchase records, and does not cancel a subscription. After a reset or reinstall without restored data, acceptance is required again.

Links, support and changes

Opening an external link lets that website process information under its own privacy policy. If you contact support, the provider receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond and resolve your request; avoid sending unnecessary medical details. Use the App Support contact on the T-Reps App Store listing for privacy questions or requests under applicable law. This notice will be updated if the app’s data practices change; any permissions or consent required for new processing will be requested separately.
