Nihongo Blast Privacy Policy

Spam Musubi Technologies LLC operates Nihongo Blast: Learn Japanese. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the game, its optional online features, and our support services. Available features vary by platform and app version.

Progress on your device

The game stores learning progress, answers and mastery records, settings, scores, and earned rewards on your device. You can play the free opening stage without creating a game account. Deleting the app removes locally stored progress. Restoring a purchase restores eligible access, not deleted local saves.

Optional accounts and cloud progress

Where account features are available, you may sign in through Apple or Google. Our account service uses Supabase and receives an account identifier, the email address supplied by your sign-in provider (which may be an Apple private-relay address), and information needed to authenticate you. We store session information to keep you signed in; native app session credentials are stored in the device Keychain.

When you use cloud sync, learning progress, answer and mastery events, settings, and related save records are sent to our service so that your progress can be restored and synchronized. Your account identifier can also be associated with purchases through RevenueCat. Using Game Center is separate from creating a game account.

Purchases

Apple processes iPhone in-app payments. RevenueCat processes product identifiers, customer identifiers, transactions, subscription status, expiration, refunds, and purchase entitlements to verify access and restore purchases. A guest purchase uses a pseudonymous customer identifier; signing in can link eligible purchases to your game account.

Where browser purchases are offered, Stripe processes checkout and billing information, and purchase status is associated with your account and RevenueCat entitlement. We do not receive your full payment card number. Payment providers handle payment details under their own policies.

Analytics and technical information

When production analytics is enabled, we use PostHog to understand purchase-screen interactions, purchase and restore outcomes, and, when offered, pricing experiments. Events may include a pseudonymous identifier, product and entitlement information, app and operating-system details, and device characteristics. Purchase and subscription lifecycle information may also be forwarded from RevenueCat to PostHog. These identifiers allow records to be associated over time; they are not anonymous.

Our app does not enable session replay or automatic screen and touch recording. It does not send individual learning answers, the learning journal, or saved learning progress to PostHog. Cloud progress uses the separate account service described above. The app does not use advertising identifiers or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our website, hosting services, and service providers receive network information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver services, protect against abuse, and diagnose problems. PostHog uses its US service endpoint. Providers may process information in other countries.

Game Center and Google Play Games

Where enabled, optional platform game services use your platform player identifier to associate qualifying stage scores and achievements with you. Scores and achievement progress are sent to Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, and pending submissions may be stored locally for retry. Your platform profile and submitted scores may be visible to others according to that platform's settings. Platform game services do not synchronize your learning journal or grant paid access. You can manage your platform profile and privacy choices through Apple or Google.

Support and use of information

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use information to operate the game, synchronize progress when requested, verify purchases, provide support, improve the product, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We share relevant information with the service providers described above for these purposes, and when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

Retention and your choices

Local information remains until removed from the device or through available game controls. Online information may be retained as needed to provide your account, synchronization, purchase restoration, support, security, and legally required records. Retention depends on the type of information and the purpose for keeping it. Purchase and financial records may need to be retained after account deletion, including by Apple, Stripe, or RevenueCat. Backups and provider records may not be removed immediately when active account data is deleted.

Where accounts are available, account controls let you download account data and request account deletion after confirming your identity. You may also email contact@spammusubitech.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information or ask about retention. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Deleting the app or your game account does not cancel a subscription. Manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account and browser subscriptions through the available billing portal. Account deletion can remove cloud progress and account-linked access; contact us if you need help with an eligible purchase afterward.

Children

Nihongo Blast is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address the request.
