Little Cubby Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Little Cubby is provided by Spam Musubi Technologies LLC. This policy explains how information is handled in the Little Cubby iPhone app and when you contact us. Contact: contact@spammusubitech.com.
Your closet and family information
You can enter caregiver and child names, birthdays or age information, profile pictures, clothing photos, sizes, brands, notes, storage locations, shopping lists, imported clothing information, and reminder preferences. The app stores this information on your device to organize your family's clothes and provide size and storage suggestions.
When iCloud is available, your closet is synchronized through Apple's CloudKit in your private iCloud account. Sync depends on your Apple account, device settings, network, and service availability. We do not operate a separate server that receives your closet contents, and the app does not send child profiles, birthdays, photos, or notes to RevenueCat or PostHog. Apple processes iCloud information under its own privacy policy.
Sharing with another parent
If you choose Parent Sharing, Apple CloudKit makes the family closet available to the people you invite. This includes every child profile, birthday, photo, clothing entry, bin, shopping-list entry, and saved import or review record in that closet. Invited parents can make changes. The display name you enter in Parent Sharing is saved with future edits and conflict resolutions so the family can see who changed what. These names are chosen by each parent, not verified identities. Older changes may have no name. Your selected child and notification preferences stay personal to your device. Manage Parents shows the iCloud participants and pending invitations. The owner can remove access or revoke an invitation; participants can leave. The app limits each closet to two adult accounts, including pending invitations. Apple processes the iCloud email entered for an invitation and returns account information needed to manage access, which may include a name or email visible in the roster. Your existing personal closet remains separate when you join another parent's closet.
Changes can take time to reach other devices, especially when they are offline. Removing access cannot recall screenshots, exports, backups, or copies another person has already made. Closet sharing is separate from Apple's subscription Family Sharing.
Photos, imports, and reminders
The app uses the camera or photos you select to add clothing and profile pictures. Photo preparation, clothing-label text recognition, and imported-list processing take place on your device. On supported devices, text import can use Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The app does not send these photos or imported lists to a remote AI service. You can manage camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders. You can change reminder preferences in the app and notification permissions in iOS Settings. Files or images you choose to share leave the app only through the destination you select, which has its own privacy practices.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple handles App Store payments. We do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore access, and determine subscription status. It processes an app user identifier, purchase and transaction information, entitlement status, and technical information such as app version, operating system, and device information. These services may also process network information, including an IP address, to deliver and secure requests. This processing is needed for subscription functionality and is separate from optional usage analytics.
Apple Ads measurement
Little Cubby uses Apple's AdServices attribution to understand whether an App Store install came from an Apple ad and whether those installs lead to trials or paid subscriptions. The app sends an Apple attribution token to RevenueCat, which requests attribution information from Apple. This can include campaign, ad group, and keyword identifiers. RevenueCat associates that information with subscription activity so we can measure advertising performance. This measurement is separate from the optional usage-sharing setting below.
We use standard attribution without requesting the advertising identifier (IDFA) or tracking permission. This measurement does not send your child's name, birthday, photos, closet contents, or notes to Apple Ads or RevenueCat.
Install measurement for other ad partners
Little Cubby also uses Apple's SKAdNetwork to measure installs from participating advertising partners, such as Meta. When the app launches, it supplies Apple with an install-only conversion value. Apple determines whether an eligible ad led to the install and sends a delayed, privacy-limited attribution report to the advertising network. Reports may identify the app and ad campaign; Apple limits their detail to protect privacy. We use these reports to understand which campaigns bring installs.
This measurement does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA) or tracking permission, send family or closet information to ad partners, or link an individual Little Cubby user to an advertising profile. The app does not report trial starts or purchases through this integration. It operates separately from optional usage analytics.
Optional usage analytics
Usage sharing is off by default. If you enable “Share anonymous usage” in Privacy & Data, PostHog receives limited app events, such as screens viewed, clothing actions, and subscription interactions. Allowed event properties include the entry point, clothing size, selected plan, quantity, whether an item has a photo, and counts of accepted parents and pending invitations. Sharing events describe invitations, revocations, removals, and leaving. They do not include invitation emails, iCloud account IDs, invitation links, or parent display names. The SDK may include a generated identifier and app/device metadata to understand usage. “Anonymous” means we do not attach your name or child profile; technical identifiers can still distinguish an installation.
The app excludes names, birthdays, photos, notes, and storage-location text from these events. Session recording, automatic screen capture, automatic interaction capture, surveys, and person profiles are disabled. PostHog uses its United States cloud service; the project is configured to discard client IP data. Turn usage sharing off at any time in Privacy & Data to stop future analytics capture. Turning it off does not automatically delete previously collected events.
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.
Support and service providers
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Please avoid sending children's photos or other sensitive family information unless necessary for your request. We use service providers for support communications, purchase validation, hosting, and optional analytics. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate, subject to their service obligations and applicable law. We may disclose information we hold when legally required, to protect rights and service security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.

Retention and deletion
Closet information and saved change history remain on your device and in iCloud, including shared storage for invited participants. Earlier entry versions are retained to handle conflicting edits, even after an individual entry is deleted. You can edit or delete individual entries, or use “Erase Little Cubby Data” in Privacy & Data to clear the selected closet, its saved change history, and reminder preferences. Erasing a shared closet also removes it for other parents as changes synchronize; leave through Parent Sharing if you only want to stop participating. Changes synchronize to iCloud when sync is available; offline devices and existing device or iCloud backups may retain earlier copies under Apple's storage and backup controls. Deleting the app alone does not necessarily remove iCloud data or backups. You can also manage storage through your Apple account and device settings.
Erasing closet data does not delete Apple's transaction records, automatically erase RevenueCat records or past analytics events, or cancel your subscription. Manage subscriptions separately in your Apple account. We and our providers retain purchase, support, and analytics information only as needed for the stated purposes, including purchase restoration, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security, then delete or de-identify it under applicable retention practices. We do not promise a fixed retention period for records controlled by Apple.
For questions or requests to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of information we hold, email contact@spammusubitech.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify a request. We cannot directly retrieve the contents of your private iCloud closet; its controls are available on your device and through Apple. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless we arrange an appropriate verification method.
Children and security
Little Cubby is intended for parents and adult caregivers, not for children to create accounts or use independently. Adults choose what information to enter about the children in their care. Use only information and photos you are authorized to provide. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information directly to us.
We use the platform and service providers' security protections to help safeguard information, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and Apple account.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app or its practices change. The current policy and its update date are published at https://spammusubitech.com/little-cubby/privacy. We will provide additional notice or request consent where required for material changes.
